Positive Behaviour Support

Positive Behaviour Support Services

CCT Psychology & Positive Behaviour Support provides tailored behavioural services for children and teens, using a person-centred, evidence-informed approach that aims to improve quality of life for both the young person and their support network.

Positive Behaviour Support focuses on understanding the function behind behaviours—why they occur—and creating practical, sustainable strategies that foster safety, confidence, and connection.
Each plan is respectful, strengths-based, and designed to meet the everyday needs of the child, their family, and support team across home, school, and community settings.

The Approach

CCT’s PBS framework combines the science of behaviour with compassion and understanding.
By identifying the underlying needs driving behaviour, support focuses on skill-building, emotional regulation, and positive engagement rather than punishment or restriction.

Families are actively involved in every stage of the process—ensuring strategies are not only effective but meaningful, realistic, and consistent across environments.

The goal is lasting change: helping children and teens feel safe, understood, and empowered to reach their full potential—while restoring confidence and harmony at home and in daily life.
